Well, I remember when I was in 3rd grade. We had a party...w/ a twist to it: A gingerbread man hunt.

• The teacher would cut out or make a gingerbread man with paper. and hide it somewhere in the school. and we went to each class asking them if they'd seen a gingerbread man walking around anywhere. they'd say no. but they would have a piece of paper with a clue on it as to where the gingerbread man would be. and each class they we went to. we noticed that we were getting closer and closer to it. then finally we found him!! Yay! Then , the teacher would bring out a treat for he class for helping her try to find him: Actuall gingerbread men.
But, they didn't have anything on them. and she had bought a whole bunch of diff. colored frosting and candies to decorate our gingerbread man with. then we ate 'em. they were so good! Yum!

See, THE GAME is try to find the gingerbread man, cuz he ran away.
and THE CRAFT is to decorate you own real gingerbread man then eat your masterpiece or work of art!
